Weddings

This is a beautiful place, and the deer are gorgeous and romantic, so Lyell Deer Sanctuary is a wonderful venue for weddings, BUT it will not suit everyone!

We have a rustic, relaxed, DIY sort of vibe, and we love elopements, micro-weddings and animal-loving couples who don't have function-centre style, priorities or budgets! We are very picky about the events we accept here, as our primary concern is always the animals. We request that potential brides and grooms visit the Sanctuary before sending a wedding inquiry, so you know whether it suits you and your vision. We are open to the public every weekend, 10am-4pm.
