Snowy is a sweet little fallow deer. She was found tangled up in the back fence of a family property in Pullenvale in December, 2021. She had a broken leg and ticks all over her, but after lots of care she now runs just as fast as the other deer and is very friendly, capable and polite.
When she was a baby, she was covered in white spots so the family who found her decided to name her ‘Snowy’. The spots have faded a little now, but but they can still be seen in her lighter summer coat.
 
When you sponsor Snowy, you will be helping to provide food, comfortable environments and veterinary care for her and all the animals here at the Lyell Deer Sanctuary, and supporting us to be able to continue rescuing and rehabilitating more deer. We are entirely self-funded, and every little bit helps so much!
