Feed, pat and cuddle our real-life rescue deer and other animals, as well as adopt your own plush reindeer at our annual fundraising event!

About the event
You will get to:
- Choose a gorgeous plush reindeer to adopt (eight friends to choose from this year)
- Name your reindeer and register it with an official Lyell Deer Sanctuary adoption certificate
- Dress your reindeer with a cute bandana and sleigh bell
- Visit the vet clinic with your reindeer for a checkup and learn about their health and wellbeing
- Have a mini photo shoot with your new deer friend
- Make some special reindeer treats to take home and leave out on Christmas Eve (or just feed them to our deer!)
- Vote for your favourite Lyell Deer to guide Santa’s sleigh
- Decorate gingerbread reindeer to eat yourself!
We will have craft, water play and toys, and Christmas music by Buck, our singing deer!
Cold drinks and festive food for sale, or bring your own.
Cost: $40 per child (This includes admission to the Sanctuary for adults and children accompanying the participating child). Participating siblings are $35 each.

VIP Ticket
This is a premium ticket with the option to pre-select a plush toy before the event to ensure you get the style you prefer. We have a limited number of larger styles to choose from. Every child who wants this option must have their own VIP ticket (no Sibling discount applies at this level).

This is a discount ticket for general admission available for siblings after a regular General Admission ticket has been purchased. Unlimited sibling tickets are allowed with the purchase of one full price ticket.
